After an award ceremony for volleyball team record-breakers Jessica Walaski and Alysha Blanco, the Saints took to the court to demolish the University of the Southwest 3-0. The Saints defeated the Mustangs 25-6, 25-8 and 25-17. Walaski broke the Saints All-Time Career Record for most blocks on Sept. 29 against Texas College. After today’s game, Walaski has accumulated 154 blocks. Walaski also recorded the most blocks in a single season for any Saints’ player. She had 10 blocks against Texas Lutheran University on Oct. 3. Blanco has accumulated the most kills than any Saint in history. She is the all-time career leader with 803. She broke the record on Oct. 2 against St. Thomas.
