Dr. Kubena completes term as criminal justice organization president

Jiletta L. Kubena, PhD, assistant professor and director of OLLU’s Criminology and Criminal Justice program, is completing her term as president of the Southwestern Association of Criminal Justice (SWACJ). SWACJ is an academic organization affiliated with the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences and promotes scholarship and communication in the field of criminal justice among faculty, professionals, practitioners and students in Texas, Arkansas, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Oklahoma.

Dr. Kubena’s duties as president included presiding over the executive board and association meetings, representing the association at national criminal justice conferences and coordinating the association’s conference.
