Tomorrow, San Antonio will come together for 24 hours of giving to nonprofits during the third annual Big Give S.A. The event provides the opportunity for the OLLU community to join thousands of people throughout the city in supporting their favorite nonprofit organizations. Last year, the OLLU community raised $24,572 from 588 donors before prizes. OLLU earned an additional $11,000 in prize money, making the 2015 Big Give S.A. total $35,527. All gifts to OLLU support the Lake Fund, which provides scholarships for students. This year’s goal is $35,000. Help OLLU reach this goal in any of the following ways:
- Make a minimum gift of $10 at any time during the day tomorrow on The Big Give SA website. By giving to OLLU, members of the community can help OLLU reach the goal by making the University eligible for matching gifts that will be available throughout the day
- Participate in the on-campus giving event in the Renaissance Parlors in Main Building from 1-2 p.m.
- Visit the Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt locations at The Rim or on Marbach Road from 4-8 p.m. for a giving social. Show this flyer and 50 percent of proceeds will be donated to OLLU by Menchie’s.
