Men’s tennis on way to first-ever NAIA Men’s Tennis National Championship

TennisNAIA5-10-16The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) officially released the bracket for the 2016 NAIA Men’s Tennis National Championship, May 17 – 21 in Mobile, Ala.  The seventh annual event is hosted at the Mobile Tennis Center. Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) qualified for its first-ever tournament after claiming the NAIA Regional Tournament championship. The single elimination, tournament commences with eight first-round matchups on May 17 starting at 1:30 p.m. CDT. The top-eight seeds received a first-round bye and begin action on May 18 at 1 p.m. The event concludes on May 21 with the championship match at 1 p.m. OLLU will face the No. 5 at-large qualifier, Aquinas College from Grand Rapids, Michigan in the opening round.
