Softball’s Taylor Doege was named to the NAIA All-American Second Team by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association. She was also named All-American Second Team by the NAIA All-America committee. The sophomore first baseman and pitcher led the Saints to a Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Tournament runner-up finish. She featured in all 47 games for OLLU this season with 154 at bats, 37 runs, 73 hits, 13 doubles, four triples, 10 home runs, 51 RBIs, plus a slugging percentage of .805. Doege received RRAC First Team recognition for a second consecutive year and was named 2016 RRAC Softball Player of the Year.
