The OLLU campus in Rio Grande Valley held an orientation for new students on Saturday at its brand new location.
Approximately 70 new and returning students attended the session and toured the new facility. Located about a mile south of the previous campus, the new OLLU-RGV campus includes classrooms with state-of-the-art education technology, a student lounge, a multipurpose room with the latest in video technology, and faculty and staff offices. The facility was constructed by the City of La Feria, and OLLU has a long-term lease on the space. It is located next to the City of La Feria Hurricane Evacuation Dome and that space also will be available for use by the University.
An official grand-opening ceremony will be held in conjunction with the City of La Feria in the coming weeks.
