The volleyball team won its 18th consecutive conference game with a victory over the Jarvis Christian College Bulldogs. After taking the first two sets in convincing style, the Saints managed to hold off the Bulldogs at game point trailing 24-22, taking the tense, back-and-forth third set 27-25 to win in three (25-15, 25-12, 27-25). The Saints (9-4, 2-0) improve to 8-0 all-time against the Bulldogs (9-9, 0-1) and will meet them on their home court on Nov. 4. After the game, members of former Saints’ volleyball teams joined the current iteration for the annual alumni game. Members of last year’s conference championship team paired up with members stretching back to the inaugural team to win in three sets 25-19, 27-25, 25-23.
