For the second time in history, the men’s soccer team has won the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) regular season title after an overtime 2-1 win over the University of Houston-Victoria (UHV). Prior to the game, the Saints celebrated the nine seniors — Angel De la Garza, Jonathan Garay, Jose Gomez, Sergio Gonzalez, Igor Nunes do Nascimento, Marco Perales, Jared Poling, Nickolas Tyrpak and Juan Carlos Vasquez. The Saints finish out the season with a 6-0-3 conference record – their first-ever undefeated record – and 10-2-3 overall. UHV drops to 5-3-1 in conference and 9-6-1 overall.
