OLLU will host the Annual Veterans Day ceremony on Friday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the Mall Area.
The ceremony will include two featured speakers this year: retired HM1 Tom Allan Clutts, Managing Director of the PTSD Foundation of America—San Antonio, and former Marine Richard Smith, Tactical Medical Program Coordinator for the San Antonio Police Department.
In addition to the daytime celebration, there will be a viewing and discussion of the film, “Restrepo: One Platoon, One Valley, One Year,” from 2-4 p.m. in Main Building, Room 311B. “Restrepo” is the 2010 documentary film that chronicles the deployment of a platoon of U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan’s Korengal Valley.
