Volleyball wins a second consecutive RRAC championship

jeremiahtiffin2016-2The volleyball team won a second consecutive Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Championship Tournament, defeating the University of the Southwest Mustangs (USW) in three sets (25-22, 25-15, 25-18) on Saturday. The Saints (26-6) and Mustangs (24-9) were the top two seeds in the RRAC, with USW the lone team to defeat top-ranked OLLU in conference play earlier in the season. Coach Jeremiah Tiffin was named Conference Coach of the Year.

OLLU will be hosting the first round of the NAIA National Tournament this weekend. The Saints will play College of the Ozarks, Saturday at 1 p.m. in Mabee Gymnasium.
