The men’s basketball team got off to a scorching start, then got big plays down the stretch to defeat the Jarvis Christian College (JCC) Bulldogs 90-75 on the road. OLLU had six players score in double figures, led by Kellen Sweetwyne’s career-high 19 points (hitting 4-for-5 from the 3-point line). The Saints started the game on fire, hitting 10 3-pointers in the first half on 21 attempts, pinging the ball around the perimeter and assisting on 14 of their 19 made field goals. The Saints are now 6-3 overall and 3-1 in the Red River Athletic Conference.
