The OLLU Saints baseball team continued its offensive struggles, dropping both games in a two-game series against the Texas Wesleyan University (TWU) Rams.
OLLU had 11 hits in the first game, but left eight baserunners stranded, then managed only two hits while getting shutout in the second game. With the losses, the Saints have dropped their last four games to fall to 6-11. The Rams improved to 10-3.
“We need to start becoming more consistent overall,” Head Coach Jeremy Flores said. “We have to really focus and find ways to win these close games. We have to start putting everything together on a consistent basis moving forward into conference play.”
