Archbishop Gustavo Garcia-Siller, M.Sp.S, addresses the crowd at the kick-off event

OLLU is participating in the Catholic Charities’ second annual “40 Days of Service” campaign, along with the Archdiocese of San Antonio and other Catholic Schools in the city. At the kick-off event, Archbishop Gustavo Garcia-Siller, M.Sp.S, offered a blessing to all participants and asked all to serve the community with love throughout the Lenten season.

Those interested in volunteer opportunities connected to Catholic Charities should visit www.40daysofservice.com to sign up. These opportunities are open to faculty, staff, students, alumni, friends and family members.

OLLU students should remember to visit the Center for Service-Learning and Volunteerism to learn how they can track service hours or find other ways to serve the community.
