Blood Drive and Know Your Numbers Health Fair Tuesday and Wednesday

The University community is invited to participate in a blood drive, sponsored by the South Texas Blood and Tissue Center and the Know Your Numbers Health Fair. The blood drive and all testing will take place Tuesday and Wednesday in Library Circle.

Details:

  • There will be two mobile Blood Banks on campus Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 a.m.–4 p.m. No appointments necessary. A photo ID is required.
  • The Harry Jersig Speech-Language-Hearing Center will be conducting hearing screenings on Tuesday from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., and Wednesday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
  • The Lions Club will be conducting Glaucoma Eye Testing on Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
  • HIV Rapid Testing will be available courtesy of the DALE Grant on Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
  • Hepatitis-C Screening will be available courtesy of the DALE Grant on Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
  • Texan’s Standing Tall Alcohol Survey will take place Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
