OLLU students participate in 18th annual vOLLUnteer Impact

Earlier this month, the OLLU vOLLUnteer Unity Council hosted its 18th annual vOLLUnteer Impact Day. More than 90 students volunteered at various nonprofit agencies on the West Side of San Antonio. Services provided during the day included cleaning and making Fiesta decorations with the residents at Salvation Army; sorting clothes and items for the food pantry at the Guadalupe Community Center; washing mats at Haven for Hope; painting rooms and hallways at American Sunrise; and assisting with the Easter egg hunts and kids activities during OLLU’s Easter Extravaganza.

For more information, or to participate in future volunteer projects, visit the Center for Service-Learning and Volunteerism (CSLV) in Worden School, Room 23 or contact them at vuc@ollusa.edu or 210-431-3990.
