Alex Sattley won his second consecutive Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Field Athlete of the Week award for his performances on the week of April 3-9. Last week, Sattley led the Saints in a successful meet at the Seventh Annual Cardinal Invite hosted by the University of the Incarnate Word, earning a first-place finish in the high jump with a 1.90m mark and setting an OLLU record in the triple jump with his mark of 13.72m, finishing second. Sattley also competed in the long jump, placing 10th with a distance of 6.24m. The week before, Sattley set school records in the high jump and long jump, earning the field athlete of the week award for March 27-April 2. This is Sattley’s third weekly award this season, earning his first one for March 13-19, and fourth overall, taking the award for March 27-April 3 in 2016.
