OLLU has released the 2017 fall men’s golf schedule. According to Head Coach Alan E. Baxter, the team is expecting to repeat their historic success from last year, when they won the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) and finished 15th at the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) National Men’s Golf Championships. “We are looking forward to this coming season. Four of our top five players are returning from a nationally ranked and scholar team. Aside from our experienced players returning, we have some new faces coming in. The battle for the starting five should be intense. The fall schedule is very tough and ambitious. It is part of the plan to improve from last year and show that we are an elite golf team playing the best and hardest golf courses against the best competition.”
The Saints will begin their 10th season from Sept. 10-12 in Fort Worth, Texas, at the Texas Intercollegiate Golf Classic.
