Men’s Basketball Head Coach Ryan Wall has announced the addition of Michael Poindexter to his coaching staff. Poindexter became Wall’s assistant coach in late August, taking over for Robert Ford, who left OLLU this past summer for an assistant coaching job at NCAA D2 Salem International University.
Wall said, “I would like to welcome Coach Poindexter to OLLU. He has a tremendous work ethic, and he loves what he does. He will be great with developing our student athletes on and off the court. He also has been all over and will help in recruiting future Saints.”
Poindexter is a native of Memphis, Tenn., and he comes to OLLU after serving as an assistant coach and head coach at his alma mater Cordova High School in Memphis.
