The annual OLLU Halloween tradition continues Thursday as little ghouls, goblins, superheroes and princesses descend upon campus for Lake-o-Ween and Boo Bash. These community events will offer plenty of family-friendly fun in a safe environment.
Lake-o-Ween will take place from 6-8 p.m. in Library Circle. The event will feature games, activities, a costume contest, hot dogs and drinks. There will also be special appearances by McGruff the Crime Dog and H-E-Buddy. Lake-o-Ween will also kick off the Education Club’s food and coat drive. Attendees can help by bringing nonperishable food items and/or gently used coats to be donated.
Boo Bash will also begin at 6 p.m. and takes place in Centennial Courtyard. The community will be able to enjoy a photo booth, cupcake walk, snacks and trick-or-treating in the residence halls.
Both events are free to attend.
