Men’s soccer clinches second place with win over Shreveport

Men’s soccer played a tough match against LSU-Shreveport that went to the last minutes of the game. The Saints prevailed and won 1-0.  The Saints improve to 7-2-1 in the Red River Athletic Conference and 9-4-2 overall. LSU-Shreveport dropped to 5-5 in conference and 12-6 overall. The Saints will get set for the conference tournament, which begins next week. They enter the conference as the second seed that begins next week. Prior to the game, the Saints honored their seniors, including first-year senior Roger Rizzi, three-year senior Luis Sanchez and four-year senior and Captain A.J. Gonzalez.
