Ezequiel Pena, PhD, assistant vice president for academic affairs and director of the Center for Mexican American Studies and Research, will be leading workshop the “iRISE: Engaging Faculty and Staff in Research, Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship,” Tuesday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in Providence Hall, West Social Room.
This mini workshop will focus on the ways faculty and staff can explore low-cost, high-impact approaches to professional development and innovation in their respective programs, departments, units, professions and/or communities. Participants will learn about a variety of sources for support, including small grant opportunities, which can be instrumental in launching faculty and staff’s programming and research projects.
