The OLLU basketball games against Langston University on Jan. 4 marked the 500th livestreaming broadcast for Michael Thompson. During the halftime of the Saints men’s game, OLLU Athletic Director Jack Hank, Senior Women’s Athletic Administrator Adrienne Rodriguez and Women’s Head Basketball Coach Christopher Minner presented Thompson with a certificate of accomplishment. All three have been part of the university’s athletic program since its inaugural season in 2007.

The certificate read: On behalf of the Our Lady of the Lake University community, we commemorate your momentous achievement. Your talents, dedication and tireless efforts have elevated the OLLU Athletics program to the pinnacle of NAIA live-broadcasting.
