OLLU set to welcome two new deans to campus this summer

The Office of Academic Affairs is proud to announce that two new deans will be joining the OLLU community this summer.

Dr. Bruce Rosenthal will join OLLU on June 18 as the dean of the School of Business and Leadership. Dr. Rosenthal is the founding dean of the School of Business at St. Peter’s University in New Jersey where he helped create new master’s degree programs in sustainable business and consumer analytics. In addition, he worked with faculty to create the Ignatian Leadership Center.

Dr. Rosenthal also served as the director of the School of Business at Alfred University in New York, and as the director and chair of Business Programs at Chatham University in Pennsylvania. He has more than 30 years of experience as a businessman and entrepreneur and spent 20 years living and working in Asia and Europe.

Dr. Wiliam Brownsberger will join OLLU on July 1 as the dean of the College of Arts and Sciences.

Dr. Brownsberger brings valuable experience as an academic dean and chief academic officer including strategic planning and budgeting, fundraising, and curriculum design and assessment. His experience with Catholic institutions, including Conception Seminary College, Holy Trinity Catholic Seminary and University of Dallas, give him an excellent grounding in the type of values and spirit that shape OLLU.
