OLLU to host community art project with artist Steve Prince

OLLU is collaborating with the Carver Community Cultural Center and artist Steve Prince to host part of the San Antonio Door Project, a citywide community art project celebrating the rich diversity of San Antonio and the shared stories of its residents.
Multiple workshops will be held in each quadrant of the city during which participants, under the guidance of professional artists, will create their own individual work of art carved in wood. The result will be more than 300 pieces created by community members that will be joined together to create a large-scale sculpture.
The workshops held at OLLU will take place the following dates and times:
Tuesday, June 5
- 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
- 1:30-3:30 p.m.
- 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Wednesday, June 6
- 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
- 1:30-3:30 p.m.
All workshops will take place in Chapel Auditorium. Workshops are open to all ages, and no prior experience is necessary.
