Employees invited to parking fee town hall meeting

As President Diane E. Melby, EdD, mentioned at Convocation, the university has been discussing the introduction of a parking fee. While minimal, the revenue generated from the fee would help make significant improvements that OLLU community members have long recommended. Faculty and staff are encouraged to attend to share their ideas and suggestions on priorities for improvements during the following town hall meetings:

  • Wednesday, Sept. 19 – 12:30-1:30 p.m. – Providence Hall, Blue Room
  • Monday, Sept. 24 – 12:30-1:30 p.m. – Providence Hall, Blue Room

The Parking Task Force is eager to get feedback from the community. Those who are unable to attend either of the above sessions can provide input via this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/RSZFHWB.

With support from the OLLU Board of Trustees, the suggested $60 annual fee would go into effect fall 2019. This amount was carefully chosen by the Parking Task Force and President’s Council. The chart below shows fees assessed by neighboring schools.
