The volleyball team opened its conference schedule this past weekend. On Friday, the Saints fought a hard battle against the University of St. Thomas. They won 23-25, 27-25, 25-23 and 25-23. Anissa Tamez recorded a career-high 49 assists for the Saints and added eight digs and two service aces. On Saturday, the Saints took about an hour to defeat Texas College 3-0 with set wins of 25-6, 25-13 and 25-13. The Saints move to 5-6 overall and 2-0 in conference.
