The OLLU women’s soccer team was pretty evenly matched on offense against the University of the Southwest (USW) in the first round of the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) tournament.

The Saints took 11 shots, while the Mustangs had 12; the difference was the outstanding performance from the Saints’ defense that kept the Mustangs from scoring. The 2-0 win advances the Saints to the semifinals of the conference tournament that takes place next week on the campus of Texas A&M University – Texarkana.
