After a 12-point first-half deficit, the women’s basketball team got to within three in the third quarter and pushed through an epic fourth quarter to defeat Xavier University of Louisiana 89-74. The Saints improve to 2-0, while the Gold Nuggets suffer their first loss of the season and move to 4-1. This is the fifth matchup between the two NAIA schools.
