The baseball team won two of four games against the NAIA’s No. 21 team Central Methodist University (CMU). In the first game on Friday, the Saints lost 7-0 and won the second game 2-1. In Saturday’s games, the Saints lost 11-4 and won 8-7. In the win yesterday, the Saints recorded a no-hitter shared by pitchers Logan Garza and Joey Baker. The team dedicated the series to Professor Steve Wise, who passed away last week. He was a great advocate for athletics and for student-athletes at OLLU. OLLU will play next on Feb. 8 and Feb. 9 against Sterling College. Both doubleheaders will begin at noon at the Missions Baseball Academy.
