The men’s soccer team took down the University of the Southwest (USW) 1-0 last Saturday. The Saints are now 9-4-1 on the season and 5-1 against Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) opponents. The women lost to the Mustangs 1-0 and they drop to 7-4-1 on the season and 4-2 in conference. The Saints play LSU-Alexandria on Thursday, with the women at 1 p.m. and the men at 3:30 p.m. They will play their final home games of the season on Saturday against LSU-Shreveport. Seniors Ilaina Brenes-Rodriguez, Victoria Castro, Maryssa Garza, Giovanni Cardenas, Raul Posadas and Guillermo Serrano will be honored before their games.
