Dr. Khan presents at international conference

Hamid Khan, PhD, PE, professor of management, attended the International Academy of Business and Personnel Administration Disciplines (IABPAD) annual conference held in Las Vegas, Oct. 20-23. As a reviewer of the academy’s manuscripts for publication in its five journals, Dr. Khan was given expanded academic and administrative responsibilities for this conference, where he presented the results of two different empirical research findings:

  • “An empirical study predicting the situationally anchored passive avoidant leadership (SAPAL-) style of leadership for effectiveness.”
  • “The art and science of superior performance: Is it escalating commitment or positive psychology (psychological capital and psychological ownership)?”

Additionally, Dr. Khan served as chair and discussant for the following sessions:

  • Management/ Leadership
  • Management/ Global Management
  • Management/ Leadership/ Production Management
