OLLU receives $250,000 grant for OLLUCares Program

The Office of the Governor has awarded Our Lady of the Lake University a two-year $252,222 grant to extend its support of the OLLUCares Program.

OLLUCares empowers students, faculty and staff and lets them know their well-being and personal safety matters.

“Through this grant, we will be able to continue to provide educational programming on our OLLU campuses,” said Jacqueline Walter, director of the Center for Women in Church and Society. “This will help prevent and reduce violence and crimes, such as sexual assault, sexual harassment, dating violence, domestic violence and stalking.
