The Institutional Advancement Office is hosting OLLU Giving Days Feb. 17-21. During the week, members of the OLLU community will have the opportunity to support a variety of initiatives.

Additionally, Student Leadership and Development and Campus Recreation will host fun activities during community hour each day to raise funds for OLLU. Activities include:

• Monday, Feb.17 – Let’s Rodeo OLLU: Mechanical Bull Rides in the Mall Area
• Tuesday, Feb. 18 – Greek Unity Presents: Minute to Win it Games in the Mall Area
• Wednesday, Feb. 19 – Inaugural Lake Elmendorf Kayak Races (limited entries, participants must sign up in advance to compete)
• Thursday, Feb. 20 – Dollar Dance featuring Dr. Williams in the Café; I Love My Spurs Hoop Challenge in the Mall Area

By purchasing a $10 Spirit Ticket, students, faculty and staff can participate once in every activity. Additional tickets can be purchased for $1 per activity.

One hundred percent of every dollar given through OLLU Giving Days goes directly back to the university. Money raised will support student scholarships, academic programs, student life, athletics, technology, the library and more.

In addition to the OLLU Giving Days, the Employee Giving Campaign will begin on Feb. 17. This year, the campaign is highlighting three programs that employees can support: The Lake Fund, the Student Emergency Fund and the newly established Food Pantry. Employees can give back by recurring or one-time donation online, paycheck deduction or by cash or check.
