Sueltenfuss Library hosting Open Textbook Workshop

The Sueltenfuss Library is hosting an Open Textbook workshop for faculty, Wednesday from 12:30-1:30 p.m., in the Library Community Room. The workshop will cover what open educational resources are and describe the nature and qualities of openly published textbooks. Faculty will learn about the positive impact adopting open textbooks have on student learning, grades and retention. Attendees will leave the workshop with resources to help them find and use open textbooks, as well as the library’s Course Reserves service.
