OLLU Senior Spotlight: Lena Wilson

Lena Wilson Lena Wilson etched her name in OLLU women’s basketball history this season. She is ranked fifth in OLLU history in career field goals made with 346. She also ranks fourth with 227 free throws made and fourth in free throw percentage at .828. She ranks third in all-time scoring with 1,372 points, and this year, she became a member of the Saints 1,000-Point Club.

Wilson said, “While senior year ended unexpectedly, it will never change the fact that as an OLLU student-athlete, I was able to accomplish so much with the help of coaches, friends and family over the past four years. It is bittersweet but also a blessing to be able to say my basketball career has ended with breaking records, making school history and leaving my individual mark as a college player. Basketball is more than just a game; it is a lifestyle. Even though the ball stopped bouncing, this game will be a part of my life forever. I am a firm believer that no man can question God’s timing. For all seniors, it is a time to take the success and life lessons we gained from our sport and carry it over into our future.”
