Our Lady of the Lake University welcomes Deann Ortega to its inaugural competitive cheer team.
Ortega is a freshman is a graduate of John Jay High School, and while there, she received the Hardest Worker, Most Dedicated and Juniors Director awards. Ortega will be a part of the cheer team starting in the fall.
Her hobbies include watching Netflix and doing makeup, and her favorite motto is “Here for a good time, not a long time.”
