OLLU has 34 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the student-athletes who have earned the 2020 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete status.

In order to be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for this honor.

Baseball: Jorge Collazo Jr. (3.7), Jose Diaz (3.6), Alex Garza (3.5), Matt Mihalov (3.8) and Andrew Ogletree (3.5)

Basketball: Kasey Saldana (3.7), Zerina Shatri (3.7), Suzuna Shoji (3.5), Edvin Tedesjo (4.0) and Lena Wilson (3.5)

Cross-Country: Andrea Gandara (3.5) and Miguel Segura (3.7)

Golf: Kane Ybarra (3.7)
