OLLU launches 40 Cans For Lent Food Drive

Starting on Wednesday, Feb. 17 and continuing through April 16, the Division of Mission and Ministry, the Center for Service-Learning and Volunteerism and Alumni and Family Relations are teaming up for a “40 Cans For Lent Food Drive.”

The goal is to collect donations of peanut butter and canned goods to feed the hungry in the Archdiocese of San Antonio.

The recommended non-perishables are peanut butter (the most requested item), canned tuna and chicken, canned soups and canned vegetables and fruit.

Donations may be dropped off on Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Elliott House, Casa Caritas, Worden 23 and at the Main Building welcome desk.

Donations will be delivered to Catholic Charities of San Antonio.

Those who are not able to donate in person may donate through AmazonSmile (bonus points for anyone who selects OLLU as their charity). Deliver to:
