Mission and Ministry seeking student mentors for Encuentro summer program

Mission and Ministry is looking for 15 OLLU students to serve as mentors for the Encuentro High School Theology Institute this summer, June 17-24.

Twenty-five high-school students from throughout San Antonio will be participating in workshops, activities, service, and discussions designed to help them deepen their own faith and apply toward challenges within their community. College mentors will help facilitate planned activities and provide logistical support.

Mentors will receive a $1,600 stipend that will be given upon completion of the program, along with free food and housing during the event.

Mentors must be full-time OLLU students with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. Mentors must also be enrolled at OLLU for fall 2021 and have demonstrated a commitment to the Christian faith.
