OLLU ranks No. 5 in U.S. for largest percentage of Hispanic undergraduates

Our Lady of the Lake University boasts the fifth largest percentage of Hispanic degree-seeking undergraduates in the U.S. – 78 percent – according to 2019 fall data collected by U.S. News and reported by Yahoo!

OLLU’s undergraduate Hispanic enrollment ranks No. 1 in San Antonio, ahead of St. Mary’s University (68 percent), the University of the Incarnate Word (59 percent) and the University of Texas at San Antonio (58 percent).

Fourteen of the Top 20 schools are located in Texas or California. Schools with an enrollment of 25 percent of more Hispanic undergraduates are classified by the U.S. Department of Education as Hispanic Serving Institutions.
