Eddie Bickerson, a doctoral student in Leadership Studies, delivered a powerful TedXTalk at Palo Alto College in late September that was posted to YouTube on Nov. 11.
Speaking on “Music has a unique way of bringing people together,” Dickerson began his 12-minute talk by singing the 1966 hit, “Ain’t Too Proud to Beg.” He concluded with a verse from John Lennon’s 1971 hit, “Imagine.” In between, he shared personal stories about pivotal moments in his life and the music that served as the soundtrack.
