The Defense Health Agency (DHA) marked the 15th anniversary of Dr. Mary Ann Spott (PhD 2015), Deputy Chief of Joint Trauma System, with a celebratory social media post. “Dr. Spott devoted the last 15 years to improving combat casualty care; her tireless work is the important foundation for the current and future integrated casualty care system,” the post said. “Dr. Spott also led the Department of Defense (DoD) trauma registry to develop a COVID-19 patient registry — a critical component to the fight against the COVID pandemic. We applaud and thank you, Dr. Spott, for the impact you’ve made not only within the DHA, but to the DoD as a whole.”
