The men’s cross-country team participated in the Fourth Annual Saints Collegiate Cross-Country Invite at the Culebra Creek Soccer Fields.

Winning the meet was Texas A&M International University, followed by Trinity University, Texas Lutheran University and Sul Ross State University. The Saints four runners compete, so they did not have a team finish placement.

Nathaniel Rodriguez led the way for the team with a third-place finish in the 8K with a time of 23:28.2. Sebastian Moreno came in 10th place with a time of 24:20.5. Jose Carlos Hernandez placed 13th with a time of 24:45.3. Robert Rios had a time of 26:53.

The Saints will get set for the Arturo Barrios Invitational hosted by Texas A&M University in College State on Oct. 15.
