Women’s soccer scores seven goals in win over PQC

The women’s soccer team showed explosive offense in a 7-0 victory at Paul Quinn College (PQC) on Saturday. The Saints improve to 5-3-4 overall and 3-1-2 in the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC). The Tigers drop to 6-4-1 overall and 1-4 in conference play.
Head Coach Arthur Salazar commented, “The group did a good job of bouncing back from Thursday’s result and had a solid team performance. We were able to get valuable rest for many of the players, while giving quality minutes to other players.”

Basics
The Saints scored at will against the Tigers on Saturday. Sarah Miles scored first at the ninth minute and Kyleigh Spree-Kolos scored back-to-back goals just minutes later. Ez Valles added a goal for the Saints right before halftime. The Saints scored three more times in the second half to remain undefeated all-time against Paul Quinn. OLLU’s defense allowed only two shots by the Tigers.
