Talk on ‘Dispelling Myths’ about Native Americans set for Oct. 24
The Humanities and Social Sciences Department presents “No, I Do Not Live in a Tipi,” a talk and pedagogical exploration about Native American myths on Monday Oct. 24 at 4 p.m in Main 311.
Kelly Tudor, a citizen of the Lipan Apache Tribe of Texas, will talk about her experiences teaching, and how she developed approaches and techniques to help children and adults understand Native histories and contemporary lives.
