Fall Fest set for Nov. 3
The Center for Student Involvement (CSI) invites all students, faculty, staff and alumni to attend Fall Fest on Nov. 3 from 12:30 p.m. until 4 p.m. on the Sueltenfuss Library side lawn.
Fall Fest is an annual OLLU tradition, a campus community building event during Founders Week to celebrate our Sisters of Divine Providence and the university’s Core Values. Classes are dismissed from 12:30 p.m. until 5 p.m. to allow the entire campus community an opportunity to engage outside of the classroom and office.
OLLU President Abel A. Chávez invites everyone to attend. Festivities will include:
Food Pay on Your Own: Dona Kika’s, Drakes Fun Foods, La Gloria Margarita Truck
Food Covered by Student Government Association (SGA): Dirt Road Cookers 8-Foot Pizza – Pepperoni, Sausage, Margarita, and Brisket Beverage Covered by SGA: HTO Tea for the first 300.
Free Activities: Student DJ, Joust, Wrecking Ball, Eurobungy, Wizzer, Bungee Run, Gyro, Rockwall, Wings Up Photo Station, CDP Arts and Craft Board
Cost Activities: Mixie Jewelry Station and the SGA OLLU Baseball Jersey Fundraiser $30 (all proceeds go to student scholarships).
Student Affairs and Student Business Office will host a Get It Done Station to assist students with upcoming graduation or registration for next semester. Residence Life will host a station to promote Residential Intention to share information about living on campus. Wellness Center will host the Know Your Numbers bus from 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. at the Library Circle.
An International student photo will be taken in front of the library at 1:30 p.m.
