Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Track and Field Athletes of the Week have been announced for the dates of March 27-April 2 with Jalen Bell (men’s track – Our Lady of the Lake) included. This is the fourth set of RRAC track and field weekly awards for the 2023 outdoor season.

Bell set new school records in the 100-meter dash and as a part of the Saints’ 4x100m and 4x400m relay teams at the Texas Relays at the University of Texas-Austin. The sophomore sprinter from Killeen, Texas, posted a time of 10.41 in the 100 which qualifies him for the NAIA nationals. Bell and team set a mark of 40.61 in the 4x100m and a mark of 3:14.30 in the 4x400m with Julian Verastegui, Richard Davis and Cerrone Thompson.
