The National Hispanic Institute’s (NHI) Texas Star Great Debate will be held on campus beginning June 20 and will run through June 24. About 100 high school students will take part in the program. They will be staying in the residence halls and attending sessions across campus.

At the Texas Star Great Debate, students go through a journey to develop their language skills and word management while working together and creating connections with both their teammates and coaches. It is a high energy program. You will likely hear the students as they make their way around campus. Please have patience with the extra noise and greet the students as you meet them on campus.
