The OLLU men’s cross-country team has received nine votes in the 2023 NAIA Men’s Cross Country Coaches’ Preseason Top 25 Poll that was released last week.

Last season, the Saints received 16 votes, 18 votes and six votes to close out the season. Since the program began competing in 2009, the men have won seven consecutive Red River Athletic Conference championships from 2015-2021 and have qualified for nationals each of those years.

The Saints were picked to finish first in the conference in the preseason poll released Aug. 21, followed by Texas A&M University-Texarkana, Xavier University of Louisiana, Huston-Tillotson University, the University of the Southwest, Jarvis Christian University, North American University and Texas College.
