OLLU celebrated the 100th anniversary of Sacred Heart Conventual Chapel last week during the annual Spirit Day Mass.

Archbishop Gustavo García-Siller served as the principal celebrant for the Mass, and provided a special blessing in recognition of the chapel’s centennial celebration. The chapel was dedicated in fall 1923.

Faculty and staff who have served 10+ years were recognized for their service. Biology professor James Hall, PhD, was recognized for 40 years of service.
